Life's a bowl-o-cherries......also....what you make it. As Underworld HQ prepares to roll it's rubber through Europe we rest a while to reflect on the five-screen production we took around the world in the late '90s. If a thing sounds good straight out the box it don't need loadsa gizmos.
The Lemon peels under a frying sun as Rick & Pricey beat the beast machine into relinquishing it's evil
grip & let the happiness in. Danielle ferry's Mac's between Blue Water & the Lemon to replace the new
& broken. Later getting happy letting hair down with the Kings of Leon at the O2. Hyde got cooked from
the outside-inside-out on the streets of the Emerald City. Smelling the sweet smells of civilisation baking in the bellies of electric snakes sliding underground & scraping text of the stinking streets.
Tonight if you're lookin' for goodvibes, check out our good mate Jon Hopkins at the ICA tonight

Tuesday 30th June

I wish the great beast machine ran on chocolate & transmitted cool air & ozone fresh off the sea. Me? - you know I love the rain & the smell of sun-bleached dust kicked up by a sudden deluge. Listening to 'Bag It' by The Thing.
Smalltown Superjazz fills my head with such sweet vibrations.

Monday 29th June

the goodvibes from the brotherhood of Amazon & there's this book staring back at me from the e-page
with familiar names of places you remember as a kid & an author's name that goes back a long way
to memories of dusk on the Malvern Hills. Today I recommend a book from a friend. Also good coffee
without electricity...(more...)
